Flashing My Vid Card Bios

I have a 9800 non-pro 128 meg. Would it be worth it flashing my BIOS to increase performance?

yes it would but u could just oc it to a xt card

The bios flashing trick to a higher model is only used if you know that the exact version and model of your chip can be flashed into a higher model.

You can OC and it will have similar effects. If you have an 8 pipeline card then you would only gain clock speed if it was able to be flashed since all 9800 pros and XTs have 8 pipelines.

I remember hearing somewhere that the sucess relys on what type of memory you have, I'll try adn find the link, but I think that your best option is overclock.

You have to make sure that when you buy one, it has 256 bit memory. There are 128 bit ones out there also that perform poorly compared to the 256 bit ones.
