I cannot get through to the last generator inside the dome bulding! There is a room that locks behind me once the red lasers are tripped and the room is full of surveilance weapons that wipe me out almost instantly. I have looked for vents to crawl through and have also tried to disengage the surveillance weapons by a switch but nothing seems to work!!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!

Because there's pipes and stuff you need to jump on. I know, I know, I got stuck there too. Apparently it's possible to take out the turrets but I don't think so. It's the only jumping puzzle from HL2 i really remember.
 
Taking out turrets takes cheat codes, you'd need roughly all your ammo and a bit more for it ;).
 
1. Once you enter the room, if you look very little to the left, you will find a little box-like piece of machinery to jump on. There's a slightly larger one to the left of it if you are viewing it at the entrance of the room.

2. When you jump up on the higher ledge, ahead you see another box (I swear, my vocabulary is so limited), jump up on that one and look to the right; you will see a set of lasers. Move close to the wall and jump over them.

3. After that, you will see a circular-based piece of machinery. Jump up on it. Jump once more to get on the higher level of the machinery. Now look a little to the left; you will see a pipe. Jump on it a jump once more over the laser.

4. After that, you will see a hopper mine. Pick it up with the gravity gun and toss it anywhere. Note: the hopper mine will not set off the alarm if you hold it in the path of the laser.

5. Go to the right, then immediately make a left. Once you go a little further, you will see two hopper mines; one at your left and one at your right. Dispose the hopper mines and proceed forward.

6. Make a right and go forward. There's a pipe to your right once you've went down the corridor. Make a right under the pipe. Look around to get a good comprehension of the area.

7. Hop up on the long piece of machinery that's under the lasers. Be careful not to trip them. Once you've completed that, jump on the machinery housing the pipes that you see down the corridor.

8. Jump on the pipe leading down the corridor, then jump on the other pipe leading to the other piece of machinery that's housing pipes, which is adjacent to the lighted area. In the lighted area, there's a red button to press which will disable the lasers, thus allowing you, Barney and the rebels to move freely within the room.

9. Traverse the pipe leading to the lighted area.

10. Press the pretty, red button! :)
