But if you want to do the same thing, but cheaper (Maybe), go buy an old treadmill, get a desk high enough, put your computer on it, and use the treadmill while using the keyboard...

I want to see something where you can walk around with a fake model gun and you can use it to act like your actually in the game. Crouch in real life to crouch in the game. Jump in real life to jump. Fire the fake weapon to fire in the game, etc, etc...

you could always just pull a treadmill up and use a wireless. or an excercise bike, but I imagine this would work better for consoles where you have games designed for the specific controller anyway.

what I did a few times, is in cs or dod or something, do a pushup or sit-up for every death, and compile them. like first death do one, second death, do two etc...

You sure? I actualy work on full size arcade games, and looking at that it had 4-6 cameras watching for movement. Pressure-sensitive pads would be too much of a hastle compared to 6 simple webcams set to watch the movement of the person. There would also be too much calibration and wouldnt be able to tell if someone was crouching or not, since there would be little to no weight difference from crouched to standing.
