So...did you have decent Framerates with that? You must have been playing at like 17 FPS. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I doubt it, with a X800?

I get 40-130 FPS (Indoors can dip to 40FPS) with my 9800pro 1024x768 4x AF, I'm happy.
BTW my settings are on Medium, except for texture quailty which is on very high.

Nope, perfectly smooth. 30+ FPS everywhere (I am lucky that I am not "sensitive" to frame rates)

1 GB RAM
X800 Pro

I think my processor is the bottleneck right now. So I am in the process of overclocking right now to get rid of that bottleneck.
