Well, decide for yourselves: http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/adventure/siren/index.html

I think it looks outstanding, a little more "real" than SH3. Also you can play in first person view in Siren.

I saw a trailer in PSM2 that I got a month ago for this game, all I can say that its scary as hell in motion, and it looks even better with the cool SH3 grain-effect.

Release date for this game is sometime around 2004 for the Playstation2.

Meh I didn't like SH3, I played it on PC though and for it was the controls that destroyed it. I cant live with those weird controls, I couldnt bind alot of it and the camera angles where very weird! So Ill wait and see with this game...

I dont think anything can come close to SH3, but ill decide when I play this :p

Wow look at all the jaggies! That game dosnt looks very good!

Well, see the game in motion and you’ll shut your jaw. ;)

somones filled a rubber glove with raw sasauge meat and put it on his head.

Damn, this game sounds harder than SH3.

"We didn't make it any further into the level on this occasion, and were later told that our character is only ever able to sustain three attacks before dying. Enemies in the game, on the other hand, will go down after only a single hit--provided you can locate them."

"At the end, we could see a large open area that was filled with thick fog, and, before we really knew what was going on, we were hit by a sniper. A little harsh for an opening level perhaps, but when a Sony representative became available to give us a little help with the game, we realized that Siren is a game in which being able to actually see your enemies might be something of a rare luxury."

A monster with a sniper rifle? :afro:

That sounds intense and annoying at the sametime...nothin annoys me more than being sniped out of the middle of nowhere.

Exactly, especially in BF42 where you can't hear the gunshots, just the bullets that hit the ground... very lame IMO.

But it can be my soundcard too, because it has been weird the past last months. :flame:

It looks a LOT worse than SH3. SH3 has some of the best graphics currently available, that game is just average.

Also, SH3 is a PS2 game, of course it plays like crap on the PC. I doubt it isn't nearly as scary either. Not to mention it got a shoddy port.
