Ford Escort 1979 - wip

Been working on this for a day or two:



I don't mean the light pole, I made it there just to make the car look better. Anyway, the car is almost ready, I'll just need to add some more detail to the underside and maybe make an interior. The car is a year -79 Ford Escort and the light pole is a standard wooden Finnish street light standing some 10 meters from my window.

After being busy with school and being lazy for the rest of the time for the last few months, I finally decided to finish my Ford Escort -79 model. It's not completely ready yet and I don't know if I'm going to skin it, but here's some screenshots:

prop? get it in game! as a drivable car. could you go over the basics of how you go about modeling a car. ive never modeled a car lol its always seemes to hard and too much work.

sorry xsi doesn't let you make cars :/ it crashes... before you even start... when you think about it, xsi just melts ur mobo, sry. everybody's method differes i'm sure, i'm a box model whore myself, so i just outline the car/what have you & just extrude like it's nobody's business. followed by cutting out the windows/interior section. and then more cutting, following by the former, as well as the latter... just cut like it's your job, discreet actually pays you to just keep cutting, you get paid per cut.... then turbosmooth, or as i call it, dieselsmooth....
