I resently baught a Yo fun! 100 H MP3 Player.
It was working fine for the first day, but then it refued to work. Windows keep telling me that it needed to be Formated. But when ever i tryed it said "Windows was unable to finish formating". So now it wont work. Anyknow know how to format it?

Yes. when i connect it it adds a drive (G). were i can drag and drop music. and when i disconnect it goes away. Any advice?

no. It gives me the error when i try to open it. It says drive must be formated. and the mp3 player does not work. it shows 0 songs in it.
Does it matter what file system i choose to format it? like FAT32 or FAT?

Hmm, I dont know then. If it came with software/drivers install them and see if that helps.

AgentXen, give us a screen shot of whats you got, Maybe we can help?

It just gives me a window saying "The disk in Drive G is not formatted. Do you want to format now?"
Then i select Yes. and it Brings up a window.
That has the following.

-Capacity 119 MB
-File System *here it gives me a choise from "NTFS", "FAT32", and "FAT" (I tryed Formating under all of them, it dint work)
After i click on Format, it gives me another window. That says "Windows was unable to complete the format."

Any suggestions?

Okay, never mind everyone. I solved the problem by buying an Ipod.

Blast from the past!

No need to post just to say that.

Seriously, what the hell made you think people had been waiting nearly one and a half years for an answer?

 Did you go searching for this thread to answer it?? Or is it in your favourites under "Unfinished Threads"?
