Judging by this, it's bad news about the coding. Something couldn't be done in it...? Either that or he's quitting, but I doubt he would want TDE to tell Vegeta that...

Could be a red herring, for all I know ;)

Judging by this, everything I said before was wrong...

Or it could be a red herring trying to draw me away from the fact that something is infact up... Damn those "Look deeper for hidden meaning" classes!

Actually, what TDE was reluctant to tell us is that he's made the executive decision to change the game to "SHIPPI'S PINK BARBIE SNAIL RACE".

Not really, but it's nothing to worry about - we're just implementing some things differently, after all. Flipping the red herring over and drawing a circle on him. With eyes and a mouth.
 
Erm... I don't really feel like going through 23 pages, so can somebody compile a list of who is doing what on this so far?
 
Right now, I believe it's:

The Dark Elf - Management & Supervision
Qckbeam - Programming
Vegeta897 - Pixel Art
Ennui (myself) - Game & Level Design
 
Also, the basic idea of the game is a graphical IRC.

hehehe its fun! :D as much as I pick on dekstars constant questions, he always gave me something to reply to, he kept me busy posting *points at post count* thats his fault that is.. that and replying to reported posts hehe.

By the way (And staying somewhat on-topic), are you creating a full new "engine" for this? What I wouldn't mind seeing is a great hunking engine like the Source Engine being used and stripped to its core for something like this. Create a whole new engine might be a little time consuming. Any ways around this if you've decided on a new engine?

Edit: By the way, I found the Sourceworld forums again TDE, and you can expect an influx of brand new questions I've been saving up :E

I assume you're not referring to the ones under Modification Forum Listing :) since they're locked.

Ok ok, I'll shy away from the actual game itself.
For our Head-Humped mod, we've got people from all round the world working on it (Mainly America and UK), if you have anyone who lives far away, are you planning on using them as network beta testers for the game, in a closed alpha situation? Could be a good way of checking for network errors/lag in the code :)

No its going somewhere alright. So is t'other one. I'm off busy on that one and check in on this one from time to time since this one doesn't need me all the time, other one does.

The Dark Elf sort of disappeared... he hasn't been active on HL2.net since the 24th of last month and we haven't heard from him, so not a lot's been done :(
 
I sent him to my room to get the evil monkey in my closet... he still hasnt returned.
 
god and your closet is messy as hell... your housemate probably ate him and didnt through out the remains
