Relax guys! I've upgraded the forums so we wont see those annoying bugs such as your threads being cloned 20 times or posts appearing above older ones. There are a load of new features to play with and it should be a lot faster then before.

I'm sure you are all moaning about the forum style by now. Don't worry this will be changing tomorrow evening. I just need to fix a few bugs in the forum skin before I can release it. The good thing about this forum now is you can select what skin you want so if you're a good vb skinner and fancy making a halflife2.net design you want to see on these forums post it up in the Art forum and I'll see about adding it if it's any good

Good to hear the colour's changing, this blue stuff is teh ugly.

Also, is it just me, or are the 'quote' buttons gone?

ummm... I think that problem with posts being moved around inside the threads is still a problem. I specifically remember seeing my first post in this thread right after Fenric's.

Has something changed with the editing? Is it possible to delete a post or edit whenever you like and not that it isn't possible anymore after 15 minutes?

for those seeing their posts above older ones, you sure your not setup to view newest first in linear mode

I shall look into the user titles I thought they would be imported into the new forum. If you find any bugs of things that should be changed please tell me.

Nope i'm set with "linear - oldest first"

EDIT: It only happened with my first post in this thread, thats the only unusual thing I've noticed so far.

Is it just me or does changing the "Display Modes" not work?

EDIT: Just tested this on the vBulletin.com forums and it works fine for me there... so is it just an option that munro disabled or what?

I can imagine that in the beginning there might not have been enough moderators to keep the board clean from whatever kind of pictures that aren't allowed. Now there are a plenty of mods, practically moderating this board 24/7 isn't it possible to reinstate the image tags? I would very much like it :E

Yeah, so much quicker and simpler to get the VB codes now, and clicking again removes them instead of doubling up in an annoying way, which is a really nice feature and should mean less mistakes when I post

Oh btw, for those who haven't seen this version in the regular theme, it does look nice

where it says reply, click the quick reply to this message next to it. Then it takes you to the quick reply box, click quote message in reply? type your message and post, and it "should" include the quote correctly

PS. check out your new PM features guys, sooooooooo much nicer, really well set out now

ok have found a bug of sorts.. when quick replying with quote as discribed above. If you do that with someone's post that has

in it, it'll mess up the quote in your own message. Just thought I'd mention it just incase
