well I tried Forza motorsport for Xbox in the store and my opinion?

Its pretty f-in good!

I picked an Acura NSX and you can hook it up with body kits - paint - wheels etc. the car model looks great of course

the track was Laguna Seca- the most famous track in the world.

I can say that it was just like Laguna Seca - very close

The sound of the engine was what really kicked ass. made me and my GT 4 a lot jealous.

I kept spinning it out thought - but this is a hard car to drive untill you get used to it.

I like the triggers for the gas/brake pedals

Looks like a great game but Im sure it has no where near the amount of cars & tracks that GT4 offers. to be fair though. GT4 has alot of crappy cars - most of them are great but there are alot of really old cars from the 80's and stuff.

I dont know I am already looking forward to GT 5 on PS 3. however forza motorsport at a glance and a couple test laps seems to be a great game also.

I think I may have liked it becuase it was something new - a new game engine with an adjustable 3RD "person" view of the car and great sound. also the body kits and paint colors aren't available on GT 4.

GT 4 is basically a reved up GT 3. so its not a new game to me. its aged to perfection but i just hope that the game is a perfect 10 on PS3.

Don't forget Forza is going to be fullt supported by XBox Live with real-time racing for up to 8 players. Forza kills GT4 with multiplayer...there's no arguing.

Forza's cars take damage unlike GT4 and Forza appears to have more realistic physics.

Real-time Dolby Digital....always great.

This is a great comparison article for GT4 and Forza.......basically, for the first time ever, GT4 is going to have serious competition.

Yea you can't rest on what you've got when you are competing with microsoft- i dont care what company you are. Good. competition is what games need to get the programmers improving them.

It was pretty cool. I didnt ahve a chance to play it long enough to make a fair comparison of anything. The phsyics seemed good enough for 2 laps. I kept spinning the NSX out- going to fast probably and goose-tailed it

Laguna Seca is the most famous racetrack in the world? Hardly.

Yeah, I would say it's Daytona Internation Speedway.

You guys are insane. The most famous race track in the world is the 14 mile Nurburgring.

I'd say it's Silverstone or Nürburgering or Imola.

So then the Le Mans track in France is 2nd? Hard for me to believe that.

From the Head-To-Head of Forza and GT4 they did at IGN, I found myself always watching Forza more than GT4... It was better graphically, and it just has many cool features in it :D

Now I just need a racing whell, and the next-gen 'Box is coming, and buying an expensive racing wheel for one game, for a few months isn't a good buy :(

I got Forza Motorsport through my letterbox thismorning, and it's simply amazing ... I didn't think the Xbox had the capability to put out graphics like that...

The gameplay is awesome too, i've got one hell of a nice car (fully modded skyline gtr r34) and it leaves the competition standing :D

I'll post a video of the awesome replay of my first skyline r34 race as soon as I rip it from the DVD. It truely is amazing.

Well, graphicaly GT4 is much better than Forza, I don't know what you're talking about. Personally I think just looking at it and it's pretty obvious, but in the "Head-to-Head" on IGN that I think you're referring to they even say Forza takes second place to GT4 graphically.

I can't speak for the gameplay, as I've only played a little bit of both of them, but GT4 definitely has the graphical edge.

Silverstone or Nurburgering are the tracks most people know about. Depends where you are though. Here in New Zealand Bathurst in Australia is pretty famous.

I am someone who has spent much time with both GT4 and Forza on the same TV...

Forza is graphically superior, by far. There are many moments during the game that I thought I was playing on the next generation of console, where as with GT4 there were many moments that I thought I was playing GT3.

The Xbox has the capability to produce much better graphics than the PS2 - and Microsoft exploited the Xbox to its full potential with Forza.

edit: Maybe you're playing the games on a small or un-clear TV set, so you can't really see the differences in quality ... or maybe it's the demo of Forza you have. I played the Forza demo a while ago (long before release) and I can say the full game is about 50 times better than the demo, in all areas.

I'm not a racing fan at all, but I got pretty damn addicted with forza motorsport, I must admit!

Gotten pretty damn good at taking turns at relatively high speeds while maintaining control!

both games are good but GT4 is like more wide and open cuz you can choose a lot of races and special races ad stuff when forza is very basic but forza hav the customizations and the supercars that sadly dont appar in gt4

and in my opinion the cars look better in gt4
