Fox News cuts of 12-year old girl for not blaming Russia

It's ridiculous that people still treat any cable news station like it's serious journalism. Fox moreso than the others, though.
 
well... The message got through anyway. I understood when the little girl said it. :)
 
I thought it was common knowledge that any news source whos funding depends on ratings couldn't be trusted.

That... seemed fairly typical. Clearly he didn't want to admit that Georgia might be the aggressor, but it's not as if he cut their feed mid-sentence. He's no O'Reilly.
 
I'm loath to defend Fox News, but...they do get a pretty good opportunity to say their stuff.

He says "30 seconds" at about 3:12.
He says "10 seconds" at around 3:32.
From 3:12 to 3:32 = 20 seconds.
30 seconds - 10 seconds = 20 seconds.

Well, it also gets sickening the way they puff Obama's dick every chance they get too, but this is McCain month. The last few months were Obama month. The media reports that the audience of the news is suffering from "Obama Fatigue." Oh, no, we're not extremely annoyed at the media for treating Obama like a pre teen movie star, we're fatigued. it can't be that they're talking too much, not possible.

I know its a cliche, but I really cannot believe how ridiculous FOX news is. The fact that he kept repeating "bombs kept falling" just shows how retarded and simple it is. I really do feel for America with idiots like this fronting the news.

Can't they just report the f***ing news without their own corporate spin on it, which is always a load of bull. I mean the fact that they must sit around and think "alright this week our theme is hate Russia week, lets make some news!" is retarded. Their supposed to report it, not make it.

You get it with most newstations obviously, just to different extremes but man FOX really does take the piss. Surely they should be sued for false advertising of products...I mean, honestly, they aren't actually reporting news here...
 
Well they wanted to hear certain info and since it's not a talk show, they didn't really have the time to hear out all the additional thoughts the guests had. They did give her a chance to finish her thought after the break, so it's fair IMHO.

I know. That's what I said.

From 3:12 to 3:42 is 30 seconds.
He says they have 30 seconds left at 3:12.
He says they have 10 seconds left at 3:32.
This is, allowing some vagueness for how long people take to speak etc, correct. Remember that while he's saying "you've got this much time now" and they're saying "um, uh", the clock is still ticking mechanically.

So am I missing something, or are other people just misunderstanding me because I neglected to add the word 'left'?
