1st vid was fine , butt the second one was slow
fps under 8 somethimes
anybody had the seem experience?

Nope.
29.9fps constantly on the bink vids.

so its my graphics card that can't run it good ?
geforce4 ti4200 128 DDR ram cpu 1Ghz 512 ram
or is it the bink player

Download the Bink tools from their website, open them, find the .exe file of the movie and click on advanced play. Then click the checkbox that says "Show runtime playback statistics" and see what the actual framerate is.

Does the 1st vid still run fine?

It shouldnt be your graphics card. Im running a Geforce 256 DDR. A lot older than your Ti and i get smooth playback.

AMD 2700+xp CPU btw.

It was your cpu. It's fairly slow for high end video playing. Funny thing you'd probably get a better FPS running the actual game than you did with the video.

Download the Radtools from www.radgametools.com, open the "Rad Video Tools" from your Start Menu, select the video (.exe), click on "Advanced play", and in the "blitting style" combobox select "DirectDraw to primary surface"
It will run fine then :)

regards

It cant be your graphics card because I have that EXACT same card and the vid looks pretty good (other than some jaggy edges on the second vid) My pc has 2.5Ghz , 1 Gig ram......so your probably just low in the ram.

i have a geforce 2 gts.. and i can even play it flawlessly.

Listen to Foxhunter, lagged like hell before. Now it runs very smooth.

I've also noticed that sometimes you have to let the video play all the way through even if its choppy. Then when you run it again it will be smooth, I imagine because it's cached in RAM instead of trying to pull it off the harddrive.

you guy's are in a good mood today eh , ;)
thx for all your reply's &i will follow your advice

We're always in a good mood................. hmm.

Your computer just sucks, you'll have problems playing the game - get a new computer is the only way -srry
