You know how there's never a reflection in teh mirrors or water when you walk by in the game. Come on, a geeky MIT graduate defeating the US army as well as an invading army force? He has to have Vampire strength and reflexes to do taht. You realize how many bullets Freeman ubsorbs before he goes down? And even then he can still look around, cause he's still alive! You need a stake to kill him, man! And how did he spend ten years between games without gaining a lick of grey hair?

Heck, why do you think he never talks in the games? He's trynig not to show his fangs!

I like pie as much as the next guy, but i think the reasons gordon can take so many bullets is because of his HEV suit, but yeah apart from that good theory, especially how he can look around after he "dies"

yeah he didnt age coz he was in stasis although in the first HL he had ginger hair and now he has dark....anyways its the HEV suit that uses the power to take the bullets. And administer morphene and so on thats why people are always saying "thank god for that suit" as if they think they know it all.

Well, I can't remember a mirror exactly, but I was watching my friend play and he noticed that Gordon doesn't reflect in things. Just look at every metalic surface.

Since when does morphine heal you? Bullets hurt Gordon, he uses morphine to get over the pain, he doesn't get incapacitated.

In the original half-life, when your health was really low (like if you fell off somewhere high), the suit goes "Major Fracture Detected. User Death iminent". Wow, that's real assuring.

I'm walking around just fine and dandy firing off my submachine gun, even though the thing's telling me my "health" is 10% and my death is emminent.

OMG!!! (dun dun DUNNNNN *revelating epifany*) Gordon is an alien! He is an assasin sent by some far alien race to destroy Xen, that would explain why he is mute, agile, can resist heavy damage, AND is just a gray model....

the real question now is how can a mute gray model go throw MIT unnoticed, and how can Alyx be atrracted to a grey model......

Actually Gordon might be an assasin that was working for g man from beginning. In HL1 the text said something like sponsors are secret. So it might have been his first mission while he told everyone he was a graduate he was an infiltrator assasin/specialist there to meet and kill the aliens.

In HL2 G man sends gordon to create chaos so that he (the g man) could pass by unnoticed just to help resistance and talk to the commander at odessa.
Gordon might be a secret weapon: genetically engineered super soldier.
He never actually worked as a scientist.
