it's fun, but I played it when it first came out, and coming off of GH, I was unimpressed. But people say they love it. I think I'll just get GH3 for the PC, since I'm sure people will be making the steps for it sooner or later...

I played it when I was obsessing about GH, but hadn't gotten it yet. No substitute for the real thing.. It's hard when your keyboard function keys are a bit flimsy.

My college roomate played it obsessively. Being a real-live drummer, he complained how some of the custom songs were off-beat.

Still he liked the original songs and played that and CS (non-Source) every night.

I actually just started getting into this game, I've downloaded a mod that makes it into Guitar Hero, and if you go on torrent sites, you can search for song packs FROM the GH games, and coupled with the mods, you can play bass/rythm guitar/lead/etc, on 4 difficulties. It's pretty pimp...

I've only downloaded GH2 song pack, though..
