The FTC announced Friday that it will formally examine whether Intel abused its dominant position.
It's good that this is being checked on. Not just AMD suing Intel in the USA but actual action by the FTC itself.
FYI all of this is about previous pricing practices (pre-Core 2) by Intel to push AMD out of the picture by bullying and not via a good product. This is not about current Intel or AMD products. Thought I'd add that before we get a dumb comment from someone not understanding the issue.
