I don't know if it's a great idea to bring this topic back up, but, that definitely did look like an RPG.. especially considering the guy said he was positive it was a weapon.

Anyhow, thanks for the full video link. But, I somehow foresee this topic being a bad idea..
 
hmmm now it works, thx shuzer, but yeah, i'm done with this topic. It seems to bring that worst out in everybody. The circumstances of what was going on that night are too vague and anything said is just speculation. I'm putting it to rest.

I have been following this topic since it was posted. I figured it would be unfair to pass judgment without seeing the evidence in full detail. I apologize for bringing it up again.

You shouldnt apologize for bringing it up. They weren't showing that version on the news sites. And that shows a whole lot more. That thing defenitly was a weapon, and they didn't just right out shoot the guys....they watched them to make sure.
 
Yeah... I fully-back those soldier that shot the Iraqi mofo's now. It's definately a weapon. At first I was skeptical, but now I know what they did was right. h00r4y 4 t3h USA :)

also im getting an "error downloading codec" and im just getting video. Any help?
 
yeah, more info is always better. that said, i won't deny that it's certainly suspicious behavior, but i'd hardly say that the object was definitely a weapon just from watching that grainy IR video..

however, my original concern is still about the first guy who got shot.. the tractor driver. i wonder if he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, as i could see no clear indication of what he had to do with the other two guys.

no, i did not :P This is the same subject. And that sure as hell looks like some sort of a rocket launcher.
 
i was fully aware of the situation and the rather overboard things texter said. but speaking directly to someone who has not posted in a thread just seems odd to me. i wouldn't do it, so neither should you. the timmy has spoken.
 
So I don't get it....where was the gun stationed? Was he in a helicopter or on top of a mountain or something?

Where did this thing take place?
 
It looks like the movie was taken from an Apache pilot's HUD... Apache's have a special helmet that aims the gun where the pilot looks. The gun is located under the cockpit.
 
Honestly this is worse than Goatse, some guys, sitting around watching an Apache attack helicopter mow up some Iraqis, speculating about whether that's a weapon, or whether that's a farmer on a tractor.

We need HL2 and freakin NOW!!

But seriously, what's the actual point of this thread? I'm starting to think we should demote a few more mods ^_^
 
Hmm...This is getting boring. I'm waiting for the fourth Apache video thread to be posted.
