They have to be. If they are real, we would have to play well over 10,000 hours, probably even over 30,000 hours, just to get most of the medals.

Grrr. I just spent the last 2-3 hours trying to get 18 pistol kills in one round for the Expert Pistol Combat Badge because it said 100 global kills and 18 in one round...I finally got 19 kills in one round...no badge. So I go to check again on the site. They updated it to 500 pistol kills. I have another 100-something to get before I have to get 18 in one round again...

stupid! you require thousands of hours to get one medal with ONE kit, thats just silly. If somebody played 7 hours a day, which is more than anybody I know, consistently and without exception, it would take nearly 3 years to obtain a decoration such as the Distinguished Service Medal. Now you gotta be having a laugh with that? whos gonnna play for that many hours. Think they have gone a bit over the top, unless they intend Bf2 to be the last in the series and last FOREVER :| Tsk!!

Those are very unaccurate... I've spent a whole round in a plane... no Basic Aviator... I've spent an entire round in a tank and killed about 20 people.. no Basic Armor. I've spent a whole round in a helicopter... no Basic Helicopter. I have more repair points then 5, all gained from 1 round... no Basic Repair badge. I've done more then 5 heals 1 round... no Basic First Aid badge. I'm not even going to continue.

Yeah, majority of the time the game doesn't credit you with the healing points.

But HAHA! I LAUGH AT YOU ALL! I'M GOING TO BE THE FIRST WITH THE VETERAN FIRST AID AND VETERAN MEDIC!

i guess that EA only wanted their guys to complete the game and become the highest rank and rule the BF2 world because they know all the quickest ways to level up!! But then again that's rediculas...or is it?

1,000 hours is way more than I would normally put into any game, with the exception of CS 1.6 or TFC or DoD.

I can't remember to say for sure. I was the top medic for the round, of course, all I did was run around across fire healing people.

With the new medic unlock..I can finally Kick some ass, then revive. Then again, 90% of my score comes from reviving..but that's what a medic is for right?

How could expert knife and pistol be as easy as a bunch of kills, yet the others have hours requirements?

I wish that your aim/stamina got better the more you played. It's slightly disappointing my aim will never improve even though ive spent hours as sniper. Well, i guess that's incorrect, my aim has improved. What i want is for the sniper rifle to be more accurate.

I agree. I mean, if I wanted any of these high level badges, I'd just leave my cgaracter on a server and not do anything for a few days until I'm kicked, then just join another. It's just a way of EA making you stick to their precious game...

One round is from the beginning of the match until the time runs out or one team runs out of tickets (most servers don't have a time limit obviously).
