func_conveyor still working?

I can't seem to get func_conveyor working, And I don't know why. It's flags still work, but it doesn't, eh, "convey" at all and just sits there. Is this the same for anyone else?
 
well, the texture stays in one place, if thats what you mean. mine works as far as the actual conveying part goes. are you sure you have the speed over 0?

I'm trying to make a waterfall. I tried testing it with a non-water texture and it still doesn't move, so I could do something like have some water with a movie texture behind it.
ANYWAY the texture does not move. That's what I need to work.
 
Well water can't move in Source. It's just simulated. So a water-fall is a nono anyway. As far as I know... Feel free to prove me wrong.

I think you can create a decent realistic looking waterfall... just be creative.

OK I will give hints: How did valve create fire ? hmmmmm.. ?
 
well interlopers used to have a decent tutorial but it seems like the site is down at the moment
 
I know water cannot be on a func_conveyor... But it doesn't work even with a non-water texture, thats what I said...

Fire was done with textures. I could have someone make me a custom waterfall texture but I was hoping to avoid that.

Whats the water like? is it just wavey and stuff like it was still?
