Funny console stuff.

I was just curious as to whether you guys could share any funny or cool stuff that you've done with the console while playing Half-Life 2. Pics and movies would be good. I don't know how to work either of them (do you take a picture with F5? I think tha's it, but I don't know how to find the file that has them in it), but oh well.

What sparked this was that today I was making npc's everywhere in Route Canal. One of them was kind of funny which was putting Breen in front of the first train that comes, as well as in that trailor where you see the citizen and the vortigaunt. He was just standing behind them while they talked, looking back and forth between them. But what really cracked me up was shortly after that where the crow flies into the barnacle. While there was no little tongue thing there, I spawned the G-Man underneath it. It picked up the G-man, but he doesn't move, so he just went straight up into the barnacle, then the barnacle spitted out a few bones

Well, me and my building clan have messed with the console loads of times in HL2DM, and we've done incredibly crazy stuff, but I've never done anything in HL2. It's too cool for that.

That's a bigass tower of boxes. The latency I get in Deathmath and Counter-Strike probably wouldn't even give me the ability to place two.

I have a few in Half-Life 2, not Deathmatch. Would it just be Half-Life 2? And when I bring up the documents page, I've found no quick access to any Steam files. How do you get to yours?

No, the HL2DM screenshots do not show up in the HL2 folder, but logically the HL2 ones do.

3. Double click 'Program Files'

4. Scroll around until you see a 'Valve' folder. Double click it.

5. Double click 'Steam'

6. Double click 'SteamApps'

7. Double click on the folder that has your Steam name

8. Double click 'half-life 2 deathmatch'

9. Double click 'hl2mp'

10. Double click 'screenshots'


There ya go. Ten easy steps. Then you look for whatever pic it is you want to upload, go to ImageShack, and Browse until you find it.

I have all the ammo counts set like they were in halflife 1, using the sk_ command.
Impulse 101 (of course)
phys_pushscale 10000
sv_gravity 100
I have phys_timescale .05 and 1 bound to T and Y for on-the-go physics fun.
and, sk_plr_num_shotgun_pellets 100, or whatever the command is. mm, boy.

Don't worry, my brain finally clicked and I found that. I got to the folder, everythings cool, but in the Half-Life 2 one, it said 'resource' so I went there and it says 'hl2mp' and in faint writing 'TrueType Font File'. Is that ok?
