Future Weapons is a sensationalist show featuring weapons that only look cool but are, by all practical means, shitty. The host is an over serious prick, and the weapons are far from "futuristic".

I'd rather watch Roll Call or some other shitty documentary.

You nailed 5/10 points there, Mack is a prick, the guns are modern (although the Corner Shot blew my mind) When they showed the Armor Piercing SR-25 rounds, thats useful/practical, and the first gun in the second link sounds like a good infantry/light arms weapon

I saw a commercial and got excited, it was a big day for me too, so many threads had to be made, tomorrow will be slower, thus, I won't make as many, if any threads
 
@Pesmerga - Are you kidding me?

First of all, who the hell cares about the host, the show isn't about him. He just gives you the facts about the weapons.

Second, the weapons ARE futuristic, they've showed missiles that could hit a dime 10 miles away, which is shot from launcher which a person can hold, they've showed a bomb using primarily water, to take car bombs out of commission, they've showed guns that can shoot around corners, they've showed a tank that uses microwaves as riot control (and worked quite well, too).. I don't know what the hell kind of future weapons you want, but we sure as hell don't have the technology to meet your expectations..

I'll be watching it, for sure.

Anyway, was Roll Call the one with the 'ard bastard from Full Metal Jacket in it, or Mail Call or something? I dunno, I forget, but that show was kickass just because of the drill instructor shooting up trees n' stuff.
 
If they're showing you weapons being used, they aren't exactly from the future, are they?
 
By future I believe advanced weapons, as weaponry is advancing

That's my main problem with this show. That dude is such a pedantic, arrogant bastard. He is constantly hammering about the fact that he was in combat himself. Mac's a douche.
