Follow the instructions of the first post and a later post concerning 3danalyze, and hl2 will have playable framerates on dx9 mode! with my 5950 Ultra, mine hovers around 50 when around water, and sometimes drops to 30. inside its completely normal. i had no idea the water could look so good!
