If G-man can freeze time then y does he need freeman?
Samon wont like this... ill help him... He cant freeze time, he only controls it in Gordons View or someone else... Time is not frozen but gordons mind is, when Gman arrives... Help here Samon?

LOMFL...G-Man has never been one for freezing time, just remove gordon from time and space...thas way he uses him.

However there is another possibility that G-man is a bad guy: Under the employment of the COMBINE.

This is the place where Breen always makes his broadcasts. This could be a possibility that G-man is working for the combine or this is a new place where it will be unveiled in Episode One. (Note: This can be seen in Route Kanal in the boxcar where a vortigaunt was powering up the telly and shows G-man temporarily so look closely as it only shows G-man temporarily and blacks out when the vortigaunt stops charging it)

Nah. More likely the g-man is merely projecting himself on top of Breen's image, or he just teleported into where Breen casts from. Besides, if he works with the combine, he's caused the destruction of one of their citadels, which warrants cutting his dental plan.

I don't recall G-Man being on a TV in the apartments(Not the intact ones.). So I'm assuming that's a G-Mod pose, but meh.

Like AJ Rimmer said, he most likely just teleported there.

Thats what i said.

Ah. Looking at the picture again it seems that it was taken in the red train cart from Route Kanal. Nope, not a G-Mod pose.

That's not a G-Mod pose. You can, in fact, catch a glimpse of him on a TV in Route Kanal when you jump into a red cargo crate with a citizen and vortigaunt hiding inside. If you need proof, a couple unrelated sites have reported it:

http://hl2.gamegate2k.com/halflife2/halflife2gman

Look at Sighting Number 3 in each of these. If you still don't believe me, just do some research. You'll see.

Wow nice links! Thanks for providing the links though.

Oh will he?

Just because that G-man doesn't appear in that trailer does not mean that he is not appearing in that game.

So to answer your question, yes he will appear.

I think I have a guess on G-man.

I think G-man is working for both sides good and evil. I think G-Man is a spectator on Earth to see what is going on. I think G-Man protected himself by stopping time and using his pistol (the briefcase shows that he had a pistol in his briefcase).

So you think he stops time and shots people? Man is he a wimp.

Of course he is a wimp. In HL1 he never once fights aliens or soldiers!

That doesn't declear him a wimp. The samurai boss never fights intill the end.

Edit: So he doesn't stop time and shots people. He just puts them in staisis.

Gman doesn't "shots" people. He possibly "shoots" them, but he doesn't "shots" them. Though I don't think he does either... Somehow I doubt he likes getting his hands dirty. It'd be "beneath" him.

As for the topic...

I vote that he's good. Or at least I hope he is. He is so much more original as a good guy than a bad guy. Government men are always "bad guys", so to have one as a good guy is a nice change. Even if he is a bit sinister.

If he was so "all powerful", how the hell does Gordon escape from his grip?

Go eat some poo Langolier. You know what i mean.

Vorts.

uhh... Because G-Man's powers isn't fully charged up yet?

Well, G-Man DOES have time stopping powers.

How do you know Double_Blade? He is a master of deception, it's just a bunch of mirrors and wires.

A wise man once said: if you are bald, your head is shiny.

Roughly translated, it means the GMan does stop time. But I think his employers gave him that power.

Stoping time is impossible. Only way valve could explain something like that whould be magic. Magic is not something that fit into the plot. For your head to get shiny you need wax. Gman doesn't have wax.

I think Gman is both good and evil to an extent. For him to be either completely good or evil is cliche. A balance would be much more interesting. What Gman is doing is the best for humanity, but he does it in an entirely selfish manner (using Gordon).

Gman is on earth to carry out a psychological test to see if Gordon and Alyx............would push the button every 108 minutes.

Seriously, I think he is good but he must have a hidden agenda.

This will continue to be posted everytime someone mentions Gman and time control.

Say what you want, I still say he slowed down time to save Gordon.
