G15 for $54.99

Can you communicate with other planets with that keyboard?

That is a good deal. The picture shows it is the newer version, I think. It does say that the package has some cosmetic damage.

Why all the G15 hate?
it has a great LCD screen that lets me check temps while in game and it displays media info etc its great!!

Lol, only 1 person ...

I don't hate it. It's way too big in every direction.

My keyboard: 15 3/4" x 6" inches

Logitech G15: 19.5" x 10.5"

yeah I know it's a bit big but you get used to it.

It's a pretty good keyboard imo. I'm using the G19, the amped-up version of it, but it's still good and has lasted me 2 years.

Would like to have one of those - but definitely not going to spend more than 25 euro on a keyboard...

I'm currently using one of those 80's/90's keyboards... perfect feedback/feel(compared to the flimsy crap you get these days)

I don't see how that could possibly be useful enough to warrant the price. $55 is a lot of money for a keyboard, and unless you have a shitty computer and need to monitor the temperature constantly then that LCD is pointless. Displays media info? OH SNAP, I totally can't do that by hovering over my media player's icon.

EDIT: Whoa, wait. The full price is $100? Jebus, whoever bought this keyboard for that much needs a good toe-stop for wasting so much money. Unozero, you best go buy some steel toe boots, I'm coming after you.

I buy all my stuff at a pretty steep discount so their no need for violence Krynn!

Krynn is absolutely right...

The only times you need to monitor your temperature is if you're testing out overclocking. This is where you just use a program that has an OSD. Once you're finished testing and you're happy with the temperatures, you never need to worry about it again. Having it displayed for you 24/7 on your keyboard is utterly useless. It's like having your keyboard display how much harddrive space you have at all times. What a waste of money.

I almost always listen to music/podcasts while playing games and the little LCD monitor is great for skipping/rewinding etc. Easy to understand why a lot of people would find it useless though.

Global hotkeys...

I have 1 handed key combinations for next, previous, pause/play, and toggle shuffle.

Besides, there are plenty of cheap keyboards with media buttons like that anyway. Don't need an LCD...

I could use a new keyboard, mine is starting to bother me

Been thinking of a reason to buy one of those $30 LCD screens (5 1/4" slot) where you can program it to display anything you want.

But ultimately, I can't think of a good reason. I would probably put one in a remote controlled HTPC with a hidden OS.

My G11 can support 72 macro keys....don't see any on that one...

Yeah, I read that the G15 has slight improvements in every area over the G11, but it does have less macro keys. Should be enough. Do you need 72 macro keys? I don't use any. I'm hardcore, bro.

I'll just use this thread. G-15 for $35.99

Ignore the price displayed. Put this code in to get it for $35.99 (after MIR)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ..._-EMC-091310-Index-_-Keyboards-_-23126034-L0E

Enter code:
EMCYTZT140
That code is invalid now. Too bad I missed the deal. :( In Eve I got a corp member who says he can display who is on Teamspeak on the LCD, in FPS games the scoreboard is constantly up, when playing games and having a music player minimized you can see what songs are next. Great keyboard though and many apps support it if you multitask.

Oh, I'm sorry. I found the email a couple days late, I guess.

They sometimes repeat sales; I'll let you know if I see it on sale again.

If its as good as their G mice, it should be the best around.
