Man, I have to see this again... It's been so long. Great fun this movie was.

Also... I'm wondering, should I watch Battlestar Galactica? I always thought it looked ridiculous but I want a new movie to inspire me again in the space exploration type genre.

Watch the new series, it's great. Download the pilot movie, or maybe Razor. The old stuff is of course ridiculous.

Yeah, I meant the new series. I'll do that then, I'll download the pilot and see how I enjoy it. What is Razor?

EDIT: A film adaptation? Hmm, shouldn't I watch the series first?

I haven't seen Razor but people tell me it actually requires no knowledge of the series to enjoy, and contains very few spoilers. Still, I can't vouch for its quality, whereas I can tell you that the 3-hour pilot, even though it started slowly, soon grew upon me. It certainly motivated me to buy the rest of the series.

You might also wanna check out Doctor Who - although the box sets for it are extreme bad value for money, so just download it all. The show varies in quality quite a lot because it's mostly a 'monster of the week' thing, with different writers, but it usually ranges somewhere from 'quite good if silly' to 'very excellent'. It contains a fair bit of space antics.
