Game is unavalible.... i just paid 80 dollers for the collectors edition. Let me tell you what it better get avalible and REAL Quick!

Anyone else have this problem and if so how long do you have to wait.

I just paid $80 for the CE as well and I cant play it. I got that same error once as well. Then I remembered my Firewall was on. Make sure you dont have a Firewall on or any type of norton shit. Then only problem I have now is that it doesnt think my DVD is in the drive. Everytime HL2 or HL:S or CS:S is about to start is gives me a no disc inserted error. Very mad I am!

well i had my firewall on and it worked... the first time...
i had exited steam, restarted it, and clicked on HL2, and now it says unavailable at this time or some suchness..

oh, and when i first went through the process, it said unable to verify key at this time due to traffic, but let me play anyway.. maybe NOW it wants the key.. hmmm

Maybe so but now I cant even login to Steam. This was a very bad move by Valve.

edit - forget it, i've had it with steam.

I had the same thing happen, I had to restart Steam and it connected after a few times of Steam saying that it it could not connect to Steam. I got through that screen and I'm now trying to get Steam to start up and get going!!!!

in fact, it's no longer nearly as choppy as it was the first time..
