I did a search and Í didn´t find a solution.

So... do any of you guys know why i´m getting this problem while trying to open up HL2?

unable to find gameinfo.txt

I´ve already browsed to the directory and it´s there...

go to properties on your steam HL2, go to launch options and delete wot evers there, then apply
