This is the counterpart to the other thread, pretty self-explanitory.

I liked:

Unreal 2
UT2003
FarCry
Doom 3 + Expansion
CnC Generals + Zero Hour
SWAT4

And probably more

all these threads are giving me a headache, they all have the sameish name

Im pretty sure everybody liked those games you listed there.

For me its probably Hidden and Dangerous 2. Just saying that name makes me want to re-install it. Damn good game.

Medal of Honour: Pacific Assault

:(

diddy kong racing!

and i bet someone's going to say flight simulator and get nuked

Oh hell yeah! Diddy Kong Racing was fantastic! Me and my brother played that game all the time, and nobody else liked it even an ounce.

Tasteless i say!

EDIT: and completely off topic, but i just checked my "public profile" and it says I have a "referral". Is that a good referral or a bad one?

pretty much everyone on the face of the planet loved deus ex.

Yea! I'm playing that now, it's quite good, of course it could have used a lot of polishing up...which seems to be why no one liked it.

Rez. One of the best games i've played, but it sold poorly.

How are those games that everyone else hated but you loved, those are one of the most popular games/series ever made.

As far as I go:
Invisible War
Final Fantasy X-2
Mgs:SoL (not sure if so many hated it or just that the haters were very very loud)

Rez. One of the best games i've played, but it sold poorly.
1UP!! ;)

Final Fantasy VIII (Gets a lot of hate)
The Getaway 1 and 2
Deus Ex: Invisible War
Hitman: Contracts
MGS series (apparently)
Half-Life: Opposing Force

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2
Shenmue 1 & 2

Ah - for a second I thought it was an obscure reference to some news on 1up.com. My head was swimming with visions of a new Rez on the Wii. It was nice while it lasted :(

EVERYTHING :D

I don't know, I really liked the first one. Great shootouts and a good crime story. The second one, while not as good as the first one, was fun too.

I thought the second was better, or at least, the missions were. I thought they were abit dull, to be honest. Combat wasn't really its strong point, que lots of trial and error. The stealth sections in two are quite terrible.

Oh yeah, stealth gameplay sucked horribly. But combat, well...I liked that better than all the GTAs combined. Granted, San Andreas improved with a better targeting system.

Alot of the complaints geared toward GTA were about the combat system. Personally, I wasn't too bothered. Getaways annoyed me, and I think they picked it up on it for Getaway 2 because I found the shootouts in that really quite fun.

Yes Tribes Vengeance definately, very underrated game, i enjoyed it.

that immediately sprang to mind when i saw the thread so qft, i love h&d2 and the expansion sabre squadron...

prince of persia: warrior within.

I loved Pilotwings 64. :D

Lets see here.... Shadowman, Spider-Man 2 and True Crime: Streets of LA are the main three.

Wow, someone who actually played it! Yeah, it's one of the most fun games on the N64. I remember when my dad, my brother and I used to spend our evenings sitting around playing it. Ahhh so much fun.

Ooh good one, liked that one a lot.

Oh yeah, another big one for me, STAR WARS GALAXIES.

I played it for about a year, mostly because a lot of my friends did too, and eventually I was in the top guild on the server. Man, that was a fun game despite what all the vader-haters said.

You can't possibly think Streets of LA was any good. :p
Aye. :p

I enjoyed the combat the most. The story was utter nonsense, but some of the missions were pretty fun. All in all, not enough variety, but I justify it's selection on my list because it was the only game of it's kind on the Gamecube at the time, and I soaked it up.

New York City was good, but Streets of LA was atrocious.
I disagree. I found NYC unplayable. The framerate was ridiculously choppy, the sound was broken and it all ran so slow.

Here's a thread I created way back in November last year, when I had just got the game. Ugh.

Well there's your first problem, buying a third party game for the GameCube :p.
