Games to fill your lives before HL2

As i'm getting short of games to play to fill the time before HL2 any suggestions.

Personally I recommend 'CHASER'. Damn fine game, not awesome but solid and very vvery long. Pretty good engine (not quite HL2 or Doom3) and varied levels. Ingore the demo though, it sucks and doesn't do the game any justice.

I enjoy counter strike and other HL mods. I also love Desert Combat for BF1942, a new version with many goodies is coming tomorrow.

Outcast rocked just to turn on the debug mode and start spawning in random enemies and allies.
Infinite Landos falling off a cliff was the high point of my life.

Homeworld 2, definitely. Out in 2 days...can't wait. If you aren't anticipating this game, you must not have played the demo yet.

In other news, Star Wars: Galaxies is now the official replacement for Crack. So, if you're addicted to crack or have too many friends at the moment who you want to get rid of, play Galaxies and it'll all go away...better yet, play Galaxies and try to get Master Bounty Hunter by the time HL2 comes out. Do this and I'll give you a cookie/die from amazement.

I'll probably be playing one of these until HL2...

Chrome was pretty bad from the demo, also seemed to be carrying alot of unneeded code. Didn't the text from the first loading screen put you off.
