Gamespot have released a Q&A article with Robin Walker of Valve, on the subject of the upcoming Half-Life 2 expansion Aftermath.

GS: After the cryptic ending of Half-Life 2, we have to ask: Will we learn more about Gordon Freeman in Aftermath? The Combine? The G-Man? Can you promise that at least one big secret will be revealed?

[br]RW: We will be doing what we usually do in these games, which is answering some old questions while raising new ones. Dr. Kleiner will be on hand with some informed opinions, as well as a bit of speculation.

[br]Other mysteries will be introduced for the purpose of gradual revelation. We believe that theorizing about the meaning behind the clues in the Half-Life 2 universe, and the motivations of the characters within it, is one of the fun things about being a Half-Life 2 fan.

Finally, some solid info on Aftermath

Here's hoping Alex's character goes beyond the role of "fembot". I thought she was damned annoying in HL2. "Hi Gordon, did you see my BOOBS," and "Oh my god, my Dad's been captured, hopefully no one will take advantage of me in my emotion state" and all that.

I think there is just one medium spoiler in the game relative to the large picture of the game, but otherwise it's a nice read and a lot of general stuff
