we dont trust him much do we ;)

but its interesting gamespot seems to have decidd to rate theirgames very strictly, they gave a low rating to nfs u 2 also. ign rated all 3 games higher.

IGN gave Vampire a fair score, but I'd have made it 9.0 or 9.1 because it's worth it IMO.

I like the IGN reviews better, on my wishlist my ratings coincide with theirs most of the time.

I agree completely with Gamespot, the game is a great rpg gone worng. I'm dissapointed in VTMB

Most reviewers wouldn't know a good RPG if it bit them in the ass. To find out if a reviewer knows rpgs just see what they gave gothic 2.

It seems to have a following among hardcore RPG fanatics, but I understand that as a game, it wasn't much fun.

Gothic 2 wasn't a legend among "hardcore RPG fanatics" for no reason. It had some very innovative things going for it, such as a flexible plot and living world, among other things.

I love how Ocampo reviewed the game after playing it for 2 hours (first boss fight) so his opinion is just about worthless.

RPG's aren't like FPS's or action games; it takes a bit of patience and intelligence to progress through it. Bloodlines is no different. And no, there are no game stopping bugs, no disappearing quest items, etc. At least no one I know who played it nor myself encountered any. I'm around 60 hours into it and haven't needed to use noclip yet.

I'm curious to know what these "disappearing items". I've a strong suspicion you just ran out of patience.

Im not dissapointed in VTM:B. I think that alot of the reviewers are seriously underrating it.

I'll tell you why that is though. It's simple.

KOTOR 1/2

morrowind was also a sleeper hit. Same as this wah wah its buggy it sucks etc etc. Yet its one of the greatest rpgs.
