Gamestation - Question for UK peeps

Got a whole load of games next to me that i just don't see myself playing again *sheds a tear*

I think i've heard in the past that Gamestation let you trade in PC games? Is this true?

If so, can you get cash for them, or do you have to use them to knock the cost of something else?

If they don't then expect me to start selling some stuff soon! =O

I've got a pile of Xbox and PC games next to me that I plan on taking in this Saturday. I checked on the website for the prices of stuff and I'm prettu sure they exchange for cash. If not, I've onolly got COD1 and United Offensive that are PC in the pile so it's not so bad. Both are only going to come to about a tenner anyway.

You can exchange them for cash but you need to be 18 and you need to show ID of that, and they always give you an evil look when you decide to take the cash. But you can get a credit note to use in store to buy new games which is handy.

Yeah just go into Gamestation, stick all of them on the counter, if you have ID for being 18 then for cash, or you could get 4-5 new games for that many. Make sure their is a small que though, or people get irritated waiting behind you while they scan each game box lol.

Yeah, im 19 so ID is fine

Think i shall just dump them all in a bag and head on in soon

Does Gamestation sell Graphics cards?

Any idea how much i'd get for that haul?

No they just sell games for all consoles, for that much you could get quite a bit

Don't expect them to take PC games.

They do take PC games but you hardly get much for them. IF you ask for cash you'll get less for your games. If you ask for store credit instead you'll get a bit more.

I traded in 4 or 5 DS games a few months back. For cash the guy said I'd get around ?40 and for credit I'd get ?64

CEX are stingy as hell with trade in's over here. Good store though - s'where I get all my cheap DVD's from. Got all seasons of Teachers for each under a tenner.

Battlezone was cool, as were a large majority of the games i got rid of, but i don't play them anymore, barely do any gaming at the moment, so thought i may as well cash in
