Should they increase the rate-of-fire to the garand to match up with the power of the k98? To me, the garand is a piece of crap. It can't hold its own to a pistol/machinegun/any rifle/ or the carbine. It really is a useless weapon in the current state it's in.

I use the garand simply to mess around, never for a serious game. They should make it like in COD1 where you could shoot off half the clip in fast succesion. Id rather they lower the accuracy and heighten the firing rate, to the point where you can volley off a good 3-4 shots in succesion.

yeah, it should be able to shoot like a carbine but with much higher recoil and be more powerfull

im happy with the way the garand is. Rate of fire isnt great but it is still way faster than the kar. 80 damage is ok, because of the 8 round mag.
Also i have seen some very good players use garand effectively.
Good players can fire off two accurate shots, in the time it takes to reload after one kar shot. Ive often been frustrated by good garand players..

I often kill in 1 shot with the garand...carbine on the other hand takes like 3-5!

I still think the rof should be increased and maybe damage decreased a bit.

hhmmm... Making the Garand faster would make the weapon too noob friendly imo. Firingrate would make up bad aiming. But then again it could counter the kar better then and even challenge heavys.

But in my opinion the Garand is one hell of a gun now. One shot kill with HS, semi fast firingrate and is pretty accurate and even has eight bullets in a clip.

As with any gun, I prefer the k98 with an iron sight.

The gun is, after all, semi-automatic. Theres no reason why it shouldn't shoot fast.

Scoped in, the Garand is deadly accurate just like the Kar. I think it's good as is.

I'd like to see the rate increased, yes, but it's not as though it's essential. Its a good enough weapon as it is.

Nothing beats the 1 shot kar.

Kar is better, yes, but it definitely takes more skill and a different style of play with the Garand.
