Garridans Tears

I'm in the area and being pummeled with frost spells the whole time. I've killed the guardian and got the journal note about Garridon, but how the hell do I get the tears, i need to complete the quest?!

The tears are on the ground - look for small blue objects (5 I think). If you're far enough away from the center, you won't be damaged - so you can heal up & go back in.

Aha thanks, i thought they'd have been huge crystals growin in the ground but they were little things i was missing the whole time

I spent ages looking for them too. If you go back to the mage guy who gave you the quest he'll give you some anti-frost potions.

Yeah, that was annoying. I was really hoping to have the ice melt and to join in the epic struggle, but no dice. I agree that the tears were a little difficult to see....

They were nigh-impossible to see. Wellm I found the first four easily, then it took me half an hour to find the firh one. Turned out it was in a really obvious place, I have no idea how I missed it.

I seem to remeber the first 4 are arrayed around on the flat ice & the 5th is closer to the central ice-crystal.

I find that kind of gross, really. It seems like an extension of Japanese weirdos lusting for their furry cats, and needing their women to look the part.

Maybe try fire spells?

Yeah, i used my level 1 fire spell... and just kept running and healing.
