garrys mod woes

HI ALL :afro:

i could bet my house that this has been mentioned before but, oh well

it seems that when i install garrysmod into the sourcemods folder i dont see it in the games list, in fact i dont even see third party games in the list either :|

can somebody please help me with this as i really want to play this mod :sniper:

Check to see that it is installed to "c:\program files\steam\steamapps\sourcemods\garrysmod"

If you still don't see It I would suggest a re-install.

edit: nooooooo when i try to run garrysmod it says somethi like blah blah blah sourcemods/garrysmod/scripts/gameinfo.txt is not a valid format?!?!

FIXED!!! oh and btw is there a console command that i can use to kill npcs like dog? or antlion guards so i dont have to keep pumping-lead into them for ours on end.
(dot get me wrong it IS fun > it just that it takes time )

which version are you using?
becuase if you use a newer version it comes with an entity remover on the multi gun
