After a few hours of crying in the fedal position under my desk i finnaly got it uploaded here is my movie about garrys mod and crazy stuff to do with it here is the link. http://junk.paulm.com/Quan_Chi_s_Garrys_Mod_Video.wmv after u watch it tell me what u thought. i might release a high qual one that will be 28.8 megs but that wouldnt be fair to my fellow 56ker's!

Im posting this agin becasue when i went back to the directory it was not there so excues if this isposted more than once and btw mine came out b 4 the breen dance........

the music was ok, the footage was kick ass. i have a movie kinda like that, with like 50 combine vs 20 resistance in construct, but i need a good mirror

The movie wasn't too bad, but the quality just hurts. Also the music wasn't made by you, its just some song played in reverse, which was painfully annoying.

i agree, music was turd, but you got some good content in there, some of it shoulda been cut wen not much was going on. But if this is a beginning in this type of stuff for you, its a great start. Good job.

p.s. ooooh warning levels are visable again? *does forum search*

ill compile and finish off a movie for you if u get the raw shit on a ftp or website.
 
ok here is te deal i have the realy nice one with good qual plus i added bloopers and better music i admit that music was shitty the music is realy awsome now. PLUS i made a quans movie collectors edition witch come with the movie maker files i used and a bunch of betas i made of it like shorter versions and differant music and one i made for fun its only 811k the qual is so bad its funny and i even have bloopers of bloopers in it and the main video is real high qual. but my problem is i have no where to upload it to cause all the places i no are like 15 meg limit and i was wondering since i am THE poineer of half life 2 movies i think i should be able to host it on the site. good idea eh? plus i no that sum of my friends are making half life 2 movies like me also because i inspired them so maybe there should be a hole new movie page on the site where my movies (and others) can be. I NO your all dying for better music, better quality, bloopers and funny stuff so lets either get it hosted here or give me a link to a place that can take 50+ meg uploads KAPEESH

Quan Chi, use s6.yousendit.com ; upload the file, and give us the link where it's stored. The file limit is 1gb :)

Better, music especially. The bloopers was a let down...i wanted to see you building an explosive barrel pyramid which get blown up by a passing pigeon, which blows you across the map. Just got a buggy crash into the wall which was hardly a blooper? New content for your next i hope...keep at it.

well the problem with the bloopers was i didnt realy mess up at all. sry about that i just put it cause i had some extras im ganna go get the link for the collectors edition now it has alot of bloopers (kinda) and alot of beta versions of the movie with alternate music its 50 megs. :bounce: but you gus did like it right? and please please dont say stuff about my grammer i no u all play online and hat is how every talks so dont tell me it hurts to read no hard feelings

Oh and, Quan Chi, if you want to record good movies, don't use fraps. Just record a demo with the console, and make a movie with the .dem file. Use search for more info.
 
i liked the first one am at school so cannot check the other 2, but cannot wait.

.rec eh? or was it sumtin else.... oh well any ways how would i turn a .rec or what ever into a mpeg or wmv.? but it would be nice to have audio in my fillms

I have never talked like that online. I don't think I have ever seen anyone talk like that online either... :O D:

BTW ive been pretty board recently , so what do you guys think i should make a movie of? i was thinking like a music video to a song like if the song says " and im not coming back" then i canshow a guy getting his back smashed on a beam.
