About 140mb, it took me only 5min to download though at 200kb/s, not sure if that's right or not.

Hover balls are amazing, lots to play with.

Am I crosseyed, or is it currently only showing as part of the CS package through steam right now? I had to go to steampowered.com to get just GMOD.

I'm guessing, it's either to guard from mushbrains who don't read the fine print about needing a source title to play, or simply a rushed release.

#2- this isn't really a mod that is fun, its a different type of mod; posing ragdolls for comics & making you tube movies with em. I don't do that because I am not all that skilled with editing programs like that, I don't know how to SHEF or doing GODLY editing like major.dump does. Its a bit of a headache to do ragdolls, that isn't fun.

Theres also the many types of game types achieved with LUA scripting.

Because he has the actual source code to work with he now integrated LUA much deeper allowing people to do...... A LOT with it.

For someone with a BSD daemon avatar, you've not much room to talk - coming from someone not interested in shelling out for something as inconsequential as an operating system.

With something like this, the developer simply isn't talking down to the player - there's no hand-holding, no waypoints, buy menus, or pointless character building. I respect that, and far from see it as a lack of effort - more as a faith in the user to make something of it. Hell, I've paid way more for a bucket of Legos.

#1- I don't like the idea of paying for a mod.

For ****'s sake... Garry got a license, 'kay? It's not a blimey mod anymore. No one sells mods. It's illegal.

Besides it'll be far more stable than any REAL mods for HL2.
