no you dont need windows to run the Mac version of GoW ..it's native to mac osX

blizzard also always ports their games to mac ..4-5% of market share may seem small but 4-5% of millions is stil a lot ..and in the case of WoW, near 100% of those 4-5% is still a lot of enchiladas

Hmm, In that case, since you don't need Windows to play it on the Mac, you would think Microsoft would try to use GoW for Windows as a reason to make you buy a Windows based PC instead of Mac then.

They know that some people are going to stick with the Mac no matter what, so I guess that's why they are making the game available on the Mac.

MS is not concerned with apple in the least, at least not when it comes to gaming ..I dont even trhink they care about pc gamers but that's another topic all together ...honestly I have no idea what MS is doing with GoW ..it seems like it would be a natural to use GoW as an incentive for gamers to upgrade to vista ..I guess they unreasonably banked on the success of Halo 2 for vista to draw in customers when I think in reality it has had the opposite effect ..willing to bet Halo 2 for vista would have sold more if it wasnt an exclusive. MS is just fumbling the ball with this whole Windows Live initiative, foolishly thinking cross platform play would get pc gamers interested ..had they come out with say Mass Effect simulataneously for Vista which promises eposidic content they could have had a viable way of showcasing the true heart of wondows live: as a distribution system. It would have been a much easier pill for pc gamers to swallow than a half assed port of a 2 year old game that essentially did nothing with windows live except give you achievement point ..big whoop

Yes I think portable mp3 players are useless. That and anyone who has one is more likely to be an arrogant jerk if you somehow interrupt them while they listen to their music. Then you have the iPhone which is just plain retarded. The rich idiot part would the type of person that bought every new version of the iPod as it came out. The Macintosh brand itself is overpriced for what your are getting and the "but you can use bootcamp or parallels to run windows software" argument is stupid in itself as you need to buy a copy of XP on top of your already overpriced hardware.
