Wow. That was really lame. The part they showed was basically a gloiried shooting gallery. He just stood in one place and shot guys, then moved to another part of the circle and stood there and shot more guys. And they try to make it sound all cool and tactical with all the talk of cover and such, but really all he did was the equivalent of crouching behind a wall in any FPS game. But I guess if you add amazing graphics, awesome blood and gore, and stupid cliched action hero voiceovers you have a winner, right?

They were apparently using a "very easy" setting just for the sake of timing.

Well, I am clonflicted about this one. This video looked pretty, but very very boring. On the other hand, there was that one video in the dark forest or whatever and the atmosphere and pacing looked intensely creepy and fun. There's no doubt its one of the prettiest games I have ever seen...I just hope the gameplay and AI are up to next-gen standards. (e.g. AC is doing new, innovative stuff...does this?)

I guess this is the kinda game where you just have to play it to see if it really clicks with you, and not a "must-buy" like Bioshock and Assasin's Creed.

Have they said anything about a demo prior to release? That would be ultra-helpful...for us and for them!

And yes, those other 2 are must-buys no doubt.

They've said that they're not gonna release a demo until after "emergence day" if at all.....

Which I must admit Im not really that bothered by. GoW just itsnt "doing it" for me hopefully Ill feel different once I actually play the game.
