Nerd (n.) - Very intelligent, and productive. Less cool, but eventually makes millions and ends up with a very hot wife. Does not concern themself with philosophy and other meaningless shit, but very interested in physics and math stuff.

By those definitions(pes's) I'm a Geek but I think ya have them arse ways.

I saw a definition of the two I agree with more a while back:

1. A "Normal" Person(Or as I like to call them, Generic)will watch Star Wars and think "Good Film,That Death Star was a little far fetched but an enjoyable movie"

2. A Nerd will see Star Wars and think "While the Death Star is physically impossible to produce its still a brilliant and impressive concept"

3. A Geek will watch Star Wars and think "OMG what a cool Death Star!!1 I want one so bad! Star Wars is GOD!!1"

Badly Misquoted but the essense is the same I think. Plus the world isnt Generic, Nerd and Geek either.
