I'm skipping this generation, as good as it looks, the jump isn't as high as I think they were hoping, and SLI still feels like a waste of money.

Still good for nVidia, they haven't gone and redone a FX
 
I think I will upgrade when I have to, there is goign to be a game that I want that my good old faithful 9800pro won't be able to run at half decent settings, then I will upgrade. I can't afford to buy a £350 now, then another one in 6 months.
 
but when ATI come with 32 pipes , Nvidia will pop with 7900 with 32 pipes, so i think Nvidia is looking good...
 
NVIDIA ForceWare 77.72 WHQL Candidate officially released

It's no good having a shiny new graphics card without a shiny new set of drivers to go with it, and NVIDIA haven't disappointed this time around with the release of their ForceWare 77.72 driver set to coincide with the release of the GeForce 7800 GTX. Here's the list of major changes to this driver set.
