>PLEASE CONSIDER MY EXPERIENCE WHEN VOTING IN 2004.

pretty much all sources reinforce all of those points. he's a monkey, who on earth would vote someone like that into another few years...the mind boggles...

I want Arnold for President...of the WORLD!!

At least he doesn't like to strangle newborn babies like some other presidential hopefuls... or does he...

Hmmm...How's Dean's "I have a scream" speech....
Lieberman wants to ban videogames...
Kerry....well, a nice guy overall, never heard much bad things about him (and I watch the Daily Show....)

Hahahahaha, banning videogames?!?!!? My God...kids will never learn how to steal cars now...
No seriously!!! If he bans videogames then he'll make some moms happy...

I cannot belive you guys voted for him, and I won't belive people still support him.

Why not? He's removed a very very very very very dangerous guy who had chemical weapons.....

By the way, I was being sarcastic

i'd like to borrow a quote from Family Guy if i may (our modern day bible):

"hey lois look, the two symbols for the republican party; an elephant, and a big fat white guy who's threatened by change <guffaw>"

EDIT: booted up the dvd to get the actual quote <guffaw>

the sad thing about that "resume" is that it's just about all true. Kerry may not be god's gift to america, but he sure as hell is better than George W.

I mean, let's be realistic. A monkey with a bowtie and sunglasses would be better than George.

i think bush IS a monkey with a bowtie

yea...even my aunt and uncle who are ultra-conservatives are going to vote against bush this november :p

The word is that the turnout at the primaries in Washington was twice what was expected... hopefully that means that the democrats are really committed and interested in getting bush out of office, and hopefully we can carry that through to November...

It's time for a change, bigtime.

He needs to go back into the jungle and evolve...

So where are the conservative voices in this forum??

I want their opinion and defenses for this!

Or do they have any?.......

I just made a poll to check out if there are any.

maybe theres finally a united voice of dislike for bush. *sigh* i wish

why is it in the other thread with the poll on who would be voting for bush, he's getting votes yet none of his supports comment on this thread? seems like they cant defend against actual facts that prove he's incompetent as a leader.

Is it just me, or are elections in the US nothing more than a beauty contest? And not beauty in the literal sense of the word, but to me, it looks like it's all about charisma and who can barf up the nicest sounding speech and not about who has the best agenda for things to do with the country. But, that how it seems to me, could be wrong, but it's just my feeling that elections are a very shallow thing.

Well, the url having the phrase "Cross Bearer" isn't exactly flowing with scholarliness, but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.
This person's done his research, some of the best I've seen for an internet topic, but there are several phrases that weakened his argument. Most of the times, he actually confesses ignorance.

Examples of quotes:
I know that this does not refute the argument that "The Resume" makes. However, since they felt no need to prove their claim, I didn't feel the need to help them.

There's no evidence provided here for this claim and I can find none on my own.

...spending power resides with Congress.
True, and then you're saying that Bush had nothing to do with it? Didn't propose or alter it?

Without a date or more specific information, I’m not sure what they’re referring to.
Umm...then why say that in the first place?! /me has a "The Daily Show" moment.

Not quite sure how to approach this one, since numbers would be very difficult to locate. We can establish this: Enron was an energy trading company
No! Really! It is?!!?

You can prove anything with statistics.
/blinded by the obvious. And that even weakens his own evidence.

In addition, he left out several of the resume's points, and even had some I never saw before in any "version" of the resume.
In all, a very worthy debate against the email, successful actually in most parts. But, at 45 pages, it doesn't impress as much as it should.
In addition, I would like palindrome, the poster of the link, to actually give his own opinion rather than just post a link.

i would offer my conservative cricitisms of your really stupid arguments, calling him a monkey or whatever - but im really afraid of being shot down because of my age. or maybe the dumbest thing of all, believing some spam email that your friend sent you, which has no sources attached, and is clearly a biased piece of.. well... shit.

why on earth should anyone believe your spam over that the truth thing that palindrome posted. still i mean a lot of these are stupid. he's a cheerleader? who cares. a lot of these "facts" (which you claim they are and you dont know if they are or not) are either dated, stupid aesthetic things that have nothing to do with a mans leadership, or entirely fake. do your own damn research before you puke up your rhetoric at me.

lol have nothing to do with his leadership? practically everything on that list is to do with how he's driven the economy to a point of collapse, try reading it. I'd hafta say i find your signature a little condescending.

um i did. by stupid aesthetic things i meant the stuff about him being a cheerleader, which obviously shouldent have any bearing upon whether hes a good president or not. a guy cheerleading is a lot less gay than a bunch of sweaty guys taking group showers after a hot game of catch.

sig edit: yeah it is a little condescending. about as condenscending as gloating about any nationality huh.

because he was cheerleading is about the only thing there that has no grounds on his leadership, i'd post what was relevant to him being incompetant but i'd be posting practically the whole original post again. Gloating about yur country doesn't mean putting down others.

ok see the fact that it was added anyway just lowers its credibility. i cant believe youre still arguing. show sources to the information or i might as well just make up shit about kerry or whatever.

i can't believe its not butter. Anyways, look at the state of condition your country is in. Half a trillion dollar deficit which is a new national record. I'd say that has some bearing on how he's doing. Along with invading a country completely based on false information. No weapons of mass destruction and no association with osama, everything he used as justification.

oh man thats one hell of a national debt! in case you havent noticed, our economy comes in good cycles, and bad cycles. currently we are in a bad cycle, and all it takes is time for our legislative branch to bring things under control, just like they did in the 1990's. ill admit, that the burdon of the cost of this deficit is going to be on my generations shoulders but honestly it makes no difference to me because im confident that im safe in my country, and i am not confident in any current candidates can maintain the world stance that i think is most beneficial.

"Along with invading a country completely based on false information. No weapons of mass destruction and no association with osama, everything he used as justification."

sorry if you blame anyone it would be the CIA director. bush is required to act upon the intelligence laid out before him.

but he didn't fire George Tenet for giving bad intelligence...so therefore he has confidence in his CIA director.

So was Gordon Campbell, the current premier of British Columbia, as well as Ralph Kelin, who is the premier of Alberta, both Canadian provinces. Maybe you ought to do some introspection before tearing into the leader of another country.

Other notable drunks come from history: Winston Churchill, FDR.

This is suspitious because government beaurocracys are well known for keeping 28 year old driving records close at hand.

//sarcasm, if you didnt catch it.

Or not.

JonTheCanuck said:
I refused to take a drug test or answer any questions about my drug use.

This means hes bad becaue no other president has ever used drugs. Ever. Ever ever.

*cough*Clinton*cough*

JonTheCanuck said:

Your right, he did sign up for a position that could potentially see him shipped off to Vietnam, even if that possibility was remote.

He did this, unlike some other presidents who decided to go to England to "study" and only returned after the war was over. Otherwise known as draft dodging.

*cough*Clinton*cough*

Meeting the Universities requrements for obtaining a degree is good, but we all konw its nothing unless you did it with flying colors.

How is this a blight on old GWB? He tried and failed. That still puts him above the millions of others who have never tried.

Most oil companies dont find oil. Its like mining; very speculative, very risky.

This is a blight on GWB becaue no big private projects involving large ammounts of land has ever recieved govornment help.

//note the sarcasm.

People still had to vote him into office, and if you are decieved that his opponents wernt similarly funded, you had better think again.

At this point there is no reason to go on. As Im sure you can see, each of these points is a non-fact or is based on a biased and dubious interperitation of reality.

Have a nice day.
