A notice saying that you are about to receive a check from the IRS. :| Give me the ****ing check instead of putting us deeper in the hole and making that stimulus check a waste of time. This doesn't include the checks for the people who didn't file, but may still qualify for a check. Let me put this in perspective for you people. Lets say you go to a 2 year community college and the tuition is $10,000 in total. That would send 4,800 people to college for an associate degree in a field of their choice. Better educated citizens equals better skilled and a more demanding work force for those Americans with those degrees. But no, instead that money won't go to those 4,800 people but rather a letter saying you are going to get some money in the mail soon. :|

This is the definition of wasteful spending.

I thought the military held that honor.

Okay, let me rephrase that. This is one definition of wasteful spending. That's what I meant. Heh.

How can the government manipulate well-educated people?

Because.. uhh. we're not well-educated?
The few who are don't give a shit, because they don't need the rebate.

You shouldn't refer to the title in the text. One should be able to read the text without having read the title and still understand what the text is about. Back to the classroom for you, hool10.

Wouldn't a public announcement have covered this?
