Getting Maps Onto Servers

Ok, So you've spent all ur late nights making this awesome map for counterstrike... You think you have something awesome and you wanna share it with the community... How the hell do you get it onto a server?!?!?

Does anyone here know of a server running custom maps and how to contact them? Any help is appreciated... Obviously I dont wanna pay to rent my own server just to run one of my maps lol, Perhaps HL2.net culd host a server running community maps? Or maybe they already do and i just havent heard about it... :hmph:

just look for servers; most custom map servers have contact info running in the server if you play in it for a couple of minutes. there are also a lot of custom maps sites you could upload it to.
