Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter

Greetings all,

I managed to at long last get my grubby little hands on a retail copy of this game & I friggen love it. IMO, everything about this game is great. (Except for your squad AI. Not very bright.)

I finally was able to make it to the end of the first mission. The heli landed on the roof & I got my squad up next to the chopper. However, nothing happens. How do I get into the chopper & end the mission? I think i'm gonna type up a review for this game. I know its an oldie, but damn its fun.

Besides, GRAW is as far from an oldie as you can get, Fallout 1 or 2, now THAT could be considered oldies, or GR1, but GRAW? NOOO.

Naudian, did you play the game with the latest patch? PC GRAW with patch 1.35 shines in MP and is pretty good in SP as well.

Yeah, it was a pretty meh game when it first came out. The latest patch really fixes alot, and adds a more open ended MP mode called OGR. It is a much better game now, shame it wasn't out of the box or there might be more people playing the MP.

The A.I. of the team mates really put me off. Also, only being able to move your squad as a 3 is quite annoying. Should be able to move them all seperatly.

First off, I don't have a dire need to post game reviews. It's just something that I enjoy doing. Like I have already mentioned, I enjoy passing on the "Good" or "Bad" word on a game that I have played. Quite frankly, I could care less if you or anyone else disagrees with me or my thoughts on games or tech issues. Called having an opinion. Its simply a small hobby if you will. If I did it as a job, I would cease to enjoy it. I know, because I have done it. It's a cutthroat industry. One that I couldn't wait to get out of. I wonder what it is with those that post here on the HL2 forums. Quite a few People (though not all) seem to be really against creative expression. More so than any other forum I have posted on. Quite sad really. Also like I have already said in a previous post, it's quite obvious that since some people don't bring anything new to the forums, they feel the need to belittle others.

You know, if thats the case, who am I to stop you? If it makes you happy, then by all means go right ahead. Until such time that the admins tell me to stop, your stuck with me & the way & content of my posts. If you don't like them, simply & kindly don't read them.

I recently completed GRAW2 on the Xbox360, the game rocked. Loved every minute of it. You have to love the holywood style realism Ghost Reacon development teams have started to adopt None of old bullshit frustrations, instead EXPLOSIONS EXPLOSIONS!

I still get ghose bumps thinking about when the air strikes come in, BUKA BOOM WOHA!

Why should I be warned? I did in no way insult him, atleast intentionally, I merely suggested that since he seems to enjoy posting reviews so much, he should consider perhaps making it a profession.

I don't see what's so incredibly harmful about that, if you have an issue with me, how about you either PM me or the mods, instead of going off-topic?

Anyway, back ontopic, I think both GRAWs on the 360 whooped ass, but sadly the SP was way to short imo.
