Ghosting...

While using TFT screens, can anyone describe (even post pictures) of what ghosting actually looks like. My TFT will be ordered most probably tommorow and i'd just like to know what ghosting looks like. Cheers.

I don't think you could actually capture the ghosting, but its really just when the monitor can't keep up with what is shown, like with movies and games, the action is changing faster than the monitor can display it. Probably look like the picture is blurring into another one. I don't own a TFT myself so i don't know exactly what it looks like but i think thats what happens.

Just for example, if there is motion in an FPS game and you loose the detail that it had when standing still. That would be motion blur. You probably should compair it to a CRT though to see what really is motion blur by the monitor or if your eyes just can't keep up.

Wow i didn't think the ghosting would be that bad, would be pretty annoyed if i bought a tft and it blurred like that.

That's an older picture. They don't blur that bad anymore.
