I've never been in a fight myself either... except with my brother. But that's always been mild.


Only fight I've seen, serious fight... has been this one time when I was a kid living in California. We were at this 7-11 or whatever it was... getting slurpees or something. My dad was getting them anyway. I was over at this arcade machine playing, and this guy was near me too playing. Might have been playing against him, I don't remember. I do know the game was Time Killers however. The one and only time I've played that awesome game in the arcades. It was very violent and bloody.

So anyway, this guy comes into the store and starts pushing and shoving the man next to me... and they start fist fighting... until one of the guys fighting says to stop and take it outside because they're fighting next to a kid(me). And they do just that, they take it outside, and if I remember correctly one of the guys brandished a knife. Beyond that however, I remember nothing. I don't even know if he really did whip out a knife, but I distinctly remember a knife in my memory for some reason concerning the situation(and not due to Time Killers).


Maybe it was a precursor to the counter strike stabbing incident... except maybe these two guys were playing, one chopped off the others legs and arms and then finished him, and the one dude was like... "OH YEAH? WELL SINCE YOU KILLED MY CHARACTER OFF I'M GOING TO GO HOME, GET MY KNIFE AND ****ING CHOP YOUR LIMBS OFF! YOU DESERVE TO BE WIPED OUT!"

You MUST'VE been a kid. Like, four years old or something. Something young. Young enough to have your memory clouded. Nobody in the world who was cognizant enough to remember Time Killers would ever call that game awesome, not in their LIFE.
 
I find it hard to follow Darksides point of view regarding gaming but I have to agree with him on this one.
 
Some things are universal. Even if you don't agree with all my other opinions on gaming--meaning that you are often wrong ;)--the shittiness of Time Killers is indisputable. And if anyone, anywhere, at any time thinks otherwise, I got one word for you:

I've only ever played the game at that point in time, and once later in life like four or five years ago on an emulator. Couldn't get into the game beyond the nostalgia factor... but when I played that game in the store it was amazing. I never played a game where you could chop off body parts of your opponents. It had a great awesome factor.

I was AT LEAST seven, but probably eight when I played the game, since it was when I was nine that we moved to Alaska, and the game was released in 1992.

I still remember it fondly, only ever having really having a memory of it at that one point in my life, not counting the brief time I tried to get into it again those few years ago.

DO NOT TAKE THAT AWAY FROM ME DARKSIDE!

Your 'fond memory' is based on a lie. Time Killers is horrible. Since seven years old you've lived with the delusion that you played a game so awesome the memory of it has lasted all this time, but the game was terrible. YOUR MEMORIES LIED TO YOU. YOU HAVE LIED TO YOURSELF. NOW YOU MUST QUESTION EVERYTHING, BECAUSE YOU BELIEVED TIME KILLERS WAS A GOOD GAME.

What else might you be wrong about?

First of all I don't trust anyone from France. I think that's safe to say anywhere. The girl was French so she prolly sucked too. All I see is a bunch of people who suck expressing how much they suck in a short video. I'm glad I don't know any French people.
