Girl born without a face

I hate you. You won't ever do this again when in some way, someone with something like this is involved closely with you in your life.
He is just a tool that lives in his parents basement, and sounds like a real nerdy guy

I SOUND like a nerdy guy? Wow, I must type really damn loud

It's not.

And if it is, it's still something very ****ed up to say.

I'll just repost this:
Is it possible to be born with eyes that are two different colours such as green and blue, or brown and yellow?
Anyways, what he said was inappropriate.
His warning level points should've remained.

Yes it is.

I laughed really loud when i read the headcrab comment >_>

I think I'm just going to leave this thread now :/.

When you've personally experienced things like that, kind of makes you see it a little differently.

i guess most people, including me, would say: no i couldnt live bringing up a child like that. but if you dont know until the child is born, and you are holding in your hands something you and your wife who you love have made, have created. a baby that is your own flesh and blood. i dont think as many people would be so quick to say put her down etc etc...

thats pretty sick thing to say ikerous. do you like manga? are you a jap?

That sounded like it came from the heart ,

Oh, I'm sorry. Was I somehow being cruel and offensive when I stated that I thought she'll probably never look normal like you and I do?

Thats sad, but i'm sure theres something they can do. In the video they said they are working on facial reconstruction

Thats such a sad story, it's a pitty in a case like this that the parents not only have the emotional tauma of their child's disfigurment but they have to foot the medical bill for her to have surgery and look better.
The girl does look happy but children always do, it's in their nature to laugh, and dance and piss about.

Thats so terrible, I can't imagine what that must be like to deal with, and what will happen whens he gets older. I really hope they do as much reconstruction as possible, or whatever can be done. Thats sad. If you make a comment like "lol its a headcrab", you're incredibly immature and shouldn't even bother participating in this, its not funny. If you think this is funny, you're a total jackass, and I recommend you piss off.

I agree.
I got a question, if you do make one of those comments, do you get warning points? Or are warning points solely just for spammers?

I assume you'd get a warning for any behavior deemed inappropriate by a mod.

Some incredibly stupid posts on here about morality and living with such birth defects, or choosing to die.

The people spouting such nonsense are those who don't have children. Love pays no attention to such problems.

Chances are, if she so wishes it, by the time she is 20 facial reconstruction will be so advanced she could have a pretty normal face. I just hope she doesn't encounter the kind of people who show their lack of intelligence and empathy and post negative comments here.

I guess its OK for now, but when she grows up she basically wont have a life, no husband, no social life. People with rashes on their face must feel bad and people noticing them, but people wont just notice, they will be horrified.

What a pathetic circle of friends you must have.

I've got to agree - in those sorts of situations it really is better to put the child to sleep than force them to suffer a lonely life of agony and humiliation.

That child has as much a right to life, in fact more so than you, precisely because being raised with such problems she'll probably be far more empathic than you could ever be.

I agree 100%. I have three children , one has a diagnosed medical condition, that I wouldn't even bother to trouble the morons with that find this type of thing funny.

The ability to show compassion and have emotions are the very escence of being a human being, something you F***ing morons have forgotten. Please go away and crawl back under your stone.

"She has no upper jaw, no cheek bones, no eye sockets, and she's missing the corner of her ear," explains Tom.

It must be difficult to feed her without the upper jaw and cheek bones

You people who blurt on about the 'right to live' etc. think you are so morally upstanding, over politically correct and up yourselves it makes my stomach turn.

"Juliana has to eat through her stomach, and she has a trach to breathe. Already, less than two years into her life, she's had 14 surgeries. Doctors say she could need at least 30 more. "

I do understand your point and in a perfect world, yes. But the world is not the place we would like it to be. The child will be constantly in and out of hospital and operations until she is an adult at the least.

Homeschooling may save the child the heartlessness of other kids (they can be the most scathing and harsh) but personally I would try and act no differently to her but I'm sure there is no-one who would not be left thinking about it.

Abortion is always harsh but sometime you have to be cruel to be kind maybe?

This is just my view and I don't really want to offend anyone. Whichever way you look at it, it is harsh.
