Give me a Classic RTS too play!

Red Alert 2. Premier Romanov demands it of you, comrade !

Anything associated with Westwood and/or people who once worked at Westwood.

I demand it of you.

Warzone 2100

Ground Control (technically an RTT, but a great game none the less, and its free now)

C&C series

Dune Series

Age of Empires

etc, etc...

Any Command and Conquer...any of them! :D

Or Starcraft....but C&C!

Do it for..me ;)

Age of Empires 1 & 2
Ground Control 1 & 2
Rise of Nations
Stronghold

Those were my staple RTS diet of youth. Never owned TA, SC or WC. :(

All the Blizzard games!

Diablo
Starcraft
Warcraft

Thats enough gaming to keep you going for well over two months!

STARCRAFT. Most competitive online RTS ever made and one of the best single player storylines ever made in a game.

Gotta be Rise of Nations, or C&C: Red Alert 2.

Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour
-For The Red Army!!!

And StarCraft (non-expansion pack)
-I Got Your Zerg Riiigh Here, Heheheeheh

1. Total Annihilation: A very very good old RTS. It completley changed the way I looked at RTS games. I remember getting out of the bargain bin one year thinking it would be awful. I got instantly addicted and played it for hours and hours. It is a totally new approach to RTS games that was not seen again until Supreme Commander was released last year. I would recommend getting TA:Spring, its modernized, free, 3D stepchild.

2.Starcraft: A must have. That is all that neeeds to be said.

3.Ground Control: Amazing, awesome game. More tactical than the others, but its beautiful and very fun.

4.Earth 2150: Much better than 2160. First RTS I played with fully customizable units.

5.C&C, Tiberium Sun: Probably the best C&C game, in my opinion. Classic westwood style, lovely environments, cool weapons.

You could play a new RTS, doesn't have to be old. Supreme Commander is an amazing game if you ask me. Brings a lot of new things to the whole RTS. In my opinion just like Total Annihilation it will and is changing the face of RTS games. It needs some major balancing done on it. But other than that its amazing!

The thing I like most is you can open the game up and play it. But it has sooooo many amazing little things, you just keep on learning and learning how people become so good at the game. From the layout of your base to how you control your units. The only bad thing about it is that sometimes it can get very overwhelming. Its a lot to take in at times and can effect the gameplay.

Homeworld is the only RTS for me... don't play the sequels though.

Agreed.

Played the demo and thought it was incredibly boring, took too damn long to get a decent battle going.

So many mention C&C...so few on cncnation :(

I'd suggest Medieval 2 as well actually, combine strat and real time strat, lovely game :D

Age of Empires 1 & 2 - Had so much fun with these games, loved them.
