Glitch at the Sand Traps level: can't enter Vortigaunt Camp

Does anyone have a remedy to this glitch: a path or something?

- At the "Sand Traps" level
- After killing the antlion warrior outside the vortigaunt camp
- The door opens and a vortigaunt asks you to "follow him".
- Even after the door opens, I am still not able to walk through the door way.
- sometimes the vortigaunt will come out to where I am and pass me the "bug bait", but will then stand still after that. And nothing else happens.
- Please help.

Did you use low grav cheat to get through the level? I did once the first time i played hl2 and it wouldnt work try it without low grav.

I had a few glitches throughout the game that wouldn't let me pass through to the next checkpoint. For me it was something to do with direct 3d. You may need to beat the boss again a few times to get through without an error. At least that's the way it was for me. Kinda sucked...

I'm experiencing exactly the same problem
If someone has a solution or even a cheat to pass trough this difficulty....it would be nice :E
