I think I am going to give up on ever getting one of the Gmail Invites...

I have replied to almost everyone who has ever posted an Invite, and it's got me nothing.:x

And the funny thing is, any of the people I know that get 'em, give them away to some random person

Gmail Invite: Gmail is currently in Beta stage (I think) and each approved beta tester was given 1 account to give to a friend etc.. (I think)

Look, I'm sorry I can't give you an invite, I don't have any. I was without gmail for a long time until I stumbled upon a thread on natural selection forums where someone just posted a bunch of invite URL's. I've wasted all the invites I have so far, and I'm sorry that you didn't get any of them.

I just use that Aventuremail thing that was posted a while back... it's 2 gigs of space...

Anyway, I just use that for registering at sites I don't really want to register at, but they make me. That'll fill that space...

Why do you need the invites to be a member? Is that just for the Beta, or are they gonna keep it like that forever? It just seems like a gig is quite a bit of space, so I thought they'd charge most people for the account.
